Lori Pelletier from the AFL-CIO started off the morning by going over many of the  bills that labor is pushing in favor to pass.  Mayor Gerard Couture spoke on the revitalization of Bristol's downtown area and Bristol's parks stating,  "We have great  parks, all we have to do is put a little shine on them."

   State Senator Tom Colapietro, Deputy Mayor Art Ward, State Rep's Bruce Zalaski and Bill Hamzy along with City Council Members Tom Lavigne, Ellen Zappo and Craig Minor spoke briefly on  issues affecting the people of Bristol. Barbara Doyle from the Board of Education was the final speaker of the morning.
